1987 the first Motorola - CPU based control was implemented in the CCM 9 and was the first real computer controlled Chocolate depositor in the market.
1989 the first 3D - capable CAD - Depositor was delivered to customers.
1990 the first section of the new production site in Felben was ready and has been extended in several steps to today’s size of 3’500㎡.
1992 the first 3D - capable and cantilever designed depositor was presented at Intersuc in Paris.
1998 we received international patents for our ColdPress - System.
1999 the innovative cooling concept with the Spiral got the patent - coverage.
2004 the successful production period of the CCM ended and the new generation of today’s KCM machines started.
2006 the first gearless linear - servo controlled CAD - depositor left the site.
2007 Knobel goes Hi - Flex - with this new generation of gearless linear - servos, we have developed a brand new robotic system for all kinds of pick>n>place operations, such as demoulding, scraping, etc.
Until today more than 1600 machines have left the factory and are worldwide in daily production.
Flexibility and modularity is also for our own in-house engineering and production the key to success.
Following the philosophy of <best tools produce best parts>, we keep our engineering and production always at the highest level available.
2008 the KCM / N depositor for whole nuts and big inclusions is delivered and allows the production of bars with a ratio of up to 30% nuts.
We started 1990 with CIM ( Computer integrated manufacturing ) from the CAD -system directly to the CNC machines and have today 14 CNC lathe and milling - machines from Mazak, Hermle and Mikron in operation.
All machine frames are produced in stainless steel and we cut this with our laser -cutter from Trumpf directly from the sheet and bend the parts on our Trumatic with laser - detected angle control, also from Trumpf.
